Where a passion for technology becomes a career for the future<\/strong><\/p>\n

The dual technological high school education programme, carried out in partnership with Star Transmission and Star Assembly, gives eighth-grade graduates the opportunity to combine theoretical training with hands-on experience from their high school years.
\nStudents benefit from vocational training in real production environments, mentorship from the company\u2019s specialists, and access to the technologies used in the factories in Cugir and Sebe\u0219.<\/p>\n

Starting with the 2026\u20132027 school year, vocational training will take place within the dual technological education pathway, in line with the new structure of technological education in Romania. Students obtain a Level 3 vocational qualification at the end of the 11th grade, with the option to enter the labour market or continue their studies to obtain a Level 4 qualification and take the Baccalaureate examination.<\/p>\n

The programme developed by Star Transmission and Star Assembly supports vocational training through to the achievement of a Level 3 qualification.<\/p>\n

Specialisations<\/strong>
\nStudents carry out their practical training according to their chosen qualification:
\nElectromechanic for Industrial Machinery and Installations<\/strong> \u2013 practical training in maintenance departments;
\nCNC Operator<\/strong> \u2013 practical training on production lines and in mechanical processing;
\nSubassembly Assembly Operator<\/strong> \u2013 practical training on automated assembly lines.<\/p>\n

\nProgramme structure<\/strong>
\nYear 1: 5 weeks of practical training
\nYear 2: 9 weeks of practical training
\nYear 3: 10 weeks of practical training<\/p>\n


\nProgramme benefits<\/strong>
\nIn addition to theoretical and practical training, students benefit from:
\nA monthly scholarship;
\n\u2022 Free transport and meals during the practical training period;
\n\u2022 Modern laboratories and industrial equipment;
\n\u2022 Mentorship from the company\u2019s specialists;
\n\u2022 Priority in hiring after graduation, subject to availability.<\/p>\n

Educational offer<\/strong>
\nFor the 2026\u20132027 school year, the dual programme run by Star Transmission and Star Assembly collaborates with three educational institutions in Alba County: \u201cAlexandru Dom\u0219a\u201d Technological High School, Alba Iulia\u2028<\/strong><\/p>\n

* Electromechanic for Industrial Machinery and Installations \u2013 12 places\u2028
\n* CNC Operator \u2013 12 places<\/p>\n

\u201cIon D. L\u0103z\u0103rescu\u201d Technological High School, Cugir<\/strong>
\n\u2013 CNC Operator: 24 places<\/p>\n

Sebe\u0219 Technological High School:<\/strong>
\n\u2013 Subassembly Assembly Operator: 24 places<\/p>\n

The available places are organised under the new dual technological education structure, which enables students to obtain a Level 3 vocational qualification at the end of the 11th grade.<\/p>\n

<\/br> Admissions calendar<\/strong> (Stage I)<\/strong> 13\u201320 July 2026<\/strong> \u2014 Graduates and parents, assisted by homeroom teachers, complete their preferred options in the application forms. 22 July 2026 \u2014 Computerised allocation<\/strong> to state high schools and announcement of results. 23\u201328 July 2026<\/strong> \u2014 Submission of enrolment files to the schools to which candidates have been allocated.<\/p>\n

(Stage II)<\/strong> 31 July 2026<\/strong> \u2014 Publication of the remaining available places at high schools and of the admissions centre established at county level. 10\u201312 August 2026 \u2014 Submission of applications<\/strong> from candidates taking part in this second stage. 17\u201318 August 2026 \u2014 Final allocation of candidates<\/strong> by the county admissions committee. <\/p>\n
