Ulpia \u0218tefan<\/strong>, currently production manager of 9G-Tronic automatic transmissions at Star Assembly will be general manager of Star Transmission as of November 1, 2022. <\/p>\n

\nUlpia \u0218tefan joined the 9G-Tronic team at Star Assembly in October 2016 as head of office of the small series assembly module. In September 2019, she also took charge of the pre-assembly lines of the large series module. One year later, she was appointed production manager, thus overseeing the entire assembly activities of the 9G-Tronic transmission. During her time here, she contributed successfully to the rollout of all processes related to new transmission variants in recent years. In her new role, she will oversee all operations of the Star Transmission subsidiary in Cugir.
\n<\/br>
\nStar Transmission in Cugir is home to the production of gears, shafts, high-pressure pipes and mechanically processed components for engines, transmissions and steering systems, as well host of a Technology Center. The company – as its sister company Star Assembly in Sebes, is an important part of the Mercedes-Benz Cars global powertrain production network. Under the management of Gheorghe Achim as general manager, Star Assembly is responsible for the assembly of several kinds of transmissions for the worldwide Mercedes-Benz production network today.
