Star Transmission and Star Assembly as global companies bear a great level of responsibility towards society. According to this philosophy, Star Transmission & Star Assembly totaled in 2022 an all-time high of 2.5 million EUR in sponsorships towards various community projects.

This year, we focused even more on healthcare and welfare:
We help build a new headquarters for the ambulance service of Alba Romanian Red Cross
The Red Cross plays a significant role in our CSR strategy, as one of our long-standing collaborators. In order to respond more efficiently to the community needs, we support Red Cross Headquarters in Alba Iulia with the amount of 900.000 EUR for the construction of a new building for the ambulance service. For many years now, we have been working closely to develop a tailored partnership that is mutually beneficial, to better support communities and growing needs throughout the County of Alba. Among other partnerships conducted together throughout the year we name the humanitarian aid for Ukrainian refugees, “Back to School” campaign where more than 500 unprivileged children received backpacks fully equipped with school supplies and hygiene products, and health education campaigns for pupils and preschoolers.
We help build the Maria Beatrice National Pediatric Center
For us and Maria Beatrice Association, 2022 represented the expansion and deepening of our commitment to the construction of the Maria Beatrice National Pediatric Center for the Therapy and Monitoring of the Premature, injury victims and children with cerebral palsy, dedicated to children throughout the country. In addition to the 600.000 EUR granted in 2021 for the construction of the hydrotherapy pools, this year we gave an additional support of 700.000 EUR for the completion of the construction of the Therapy Module. Here, more than 2,000 children from Romania, injured, operated, or with birth conditions, will be able to benefit from long-term treatments every year.
Further projects
This year, we supported the purchase a new ambulance for the Social Ambulance Service in Sebeș. We were Alba’s largest supporter of Via Transilvanica, the 1400-kilometer long hiking road that crosses the country from north to south. We continued to finance family homes in the SOS Children’s Village in Cisnădie in the county of Sibiu. Our education projects ranged from rehabilitation of teaching establishments to the purchase of machines and teaching stands for university and robotics teams at high school level. We supported sports competitions, community events, tree planting campaigns and many others.
Moreover, we conclude the year with the “Shoebox” campaign, where we delivered more than 1,000 Christmas gifts to less fortunate children within the county of Alba.
