The production of gears/axes (series for GL transmissions and the Lanchester vibration compensation mechanism for M271 Mercedes-Benz engines) is extended as follows: GL in 50 variants and Lanchester in 2 variants, with 3,000 pieces/working day.

The Continuous Improvement Process (PIC) was already implemented at the beginning of 2002 and its purpose was to increase work productivity and product quality, to improve working conditions and climate and to find solutions for savings. The improvement process leads to the increase of customer and employee satisfaction, therefore to the Company’s development and its success in a competitive market.

The STC employees improved their knowledge in the field of assembly by disassembling M271 Mercedes-Benz engines and FAG gearboxes, as well as by processing gearbox parts.
