2012 was the year when STC had a lot of success and also a year when we faced many changes. We produced about 7.2 million parts, the turnover reached approximately 28.4 million euro, we hired 180 new employees in the STC team and we optimized our production and processes. The STC’s belief is that a successful company must combine an active presence in the technical and professional field with social and cultural activities. This is why our company committed to supporting various activities in areas such as culture, education and public health. We sponsored the new-born department of the hospital in Cugir and started procedures to also sponsor School No. 2 in Sebeș.

Moreover, 2012 was also the year of construction projects. We extended Production Halls no. 1 in Cugir and Sebeș and we built Production Hall no. 2 in Sebeș. We started building cafeterias where our employees and guests can have their meals in a pleasant environment.

Changes occurred also in terms of corporate identity. We have a new presentation movie, a new concept for the official webpage (http://www.stcu.ro) was created, the internal magazine – “STC zi de zi” (STC day by day) started appearing regularly and a new corporate design was also created.

In September, when the Production Hall no. 1 in Cugir was inaugurated, all STC employees celebrated the achievements of 2012.
