“NAG 1” and “Dual Vocational School in Alba Iulia” are major projects in which STC was involved, in 2013, a year in which we wrote an important page in our Company history.
The “NAG 1” project involves the assembly of the 5-speed gearbox.
STC was involved, along with other major companies in Alba County, in the German Vocational School in Alba Iulia project. It is where young people will have the opportunity to learn a trade and acquire a quality qualification. The new structure of the educational system aims to help future graduates find a job in an ever-changing labour market. Graduates will receive a graduation certificate, recognized both in Romania and abroad, and will be given priority in being employed with partner companies.
The quality and professionalism that the Company has shown in recent years weighed decisively in obtaining a new major project: the assembly of state-of-the-art 9G-Tronic gearboxes. The project involves an investment of over 300 million euro, the creation of 500 jobs and will be implemented in 2016.
STC ends 2013 with a total of 1,200 employees.
