By purchasing 50,000 square meters of land for its strategic development, STC ensured the possibility of new and important projects at the Cugir location. The former foundry facility was demolished while access ways were built and all the necessary connections to natural gas, water and power supply were secured on the new site.
Production Hall no. 4, with a surface area of 1,900 sq.m., was renovated between June and September 2006 and it marks a new milestone in the history of STC. The official opening took place in the presence of STC’s Advisory Council members.
An important event in 2006 was the 5-year anniversary of the Company. “Open Day” was again organized to mark the occasion, which gave employees the possibility to present their work environment to their families.
