2011

STAR TRANSMISSION CUGIR is currently an international component supplier for the automotive industry. STC produces gears, shafts, other parts for engines, transmissions and steering boxes and assembles transmissions. It also produces parts for jigs and provides engineering services.

In 2011, STC employs over 600 people, and produces in the two plants: Cugir – for large series production, parts and components, and Sebeș – for small series production, prototypes and jigs, including transmission assembly. The STC dream has now come true! After 10 years since its establishment, STC is building the first transmission assembly line.
